Job management

Simplify your job management

Find. Schedule. Book. Done. Casting admin without the paperwork.

Save time

A streamlined booking workflow built for casting. Easy to use, fast to learn, and no complex contracts or tedious paperwork to produce for every shoot.

Collaborate directly with talent

Chat with talent in real time. Discuss and negotiate rates, schedules, and requirements, organise video castings, and upload photos and video so your creative direction is clear before the shoot day.

Change a booking whenever you need to

Dates move and briefs shift. Edit the date or rate of any booking yourself, at any time, from your account, including after the talent is booked.

Rebook talent you already trust

Stay in touch with the models and actors you have worked with before and book them again directly, without starting the search over.

One booking, one place

From approved brief to confirmed booking

Chat, casting, rate, and schedule all sit on the booking itself, and stay editable after the talent is booked.

  • Negotiate in the thread. Messages, attachments, creative direction, and video castings live on the booking rather than in your inbox.

  • Dates and rates stay editable. Edit either yourself, at any time, from the My Job section of your account, including after the talent is booked.

  • Rebook in a click. Talent you have worked with before can be booked again directly, without starting the search over.

Tried and tested

  • theright.fit is our first choice when seeking talent as the process is MUCH easier than our internal process for invoicing. That is hands down our fav thing about the platform, as well as the speed and number of applicants we receive when we do post a job.

Client FAQs

Working with talent

How long does it take for my job to be approved?

If your brief is complete, with a clear description and an appropriate budget, approval is quick during Australian business hours. If something is missing, our team will get in touch to amend the brief so talent can start applying. The more complete your brief, the faster it moves.

Can I change the date or rate after booking talent?

Yes. You can update a booking at any time by editing it in your account, including the date and the rate.

Can I chat with talent?

Yes. Chat lets you send messages, upload attachments, and share video links for casting, all in one thread per booking.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Plans change. You can edit the date and rate of a booking yourself at any time in the My Job section of your account. If talent don't attend the booking, raise an issue with support and we'll arrange a refund. If you are unsure what applies to your situation, contact support.

Can I cancel talent after booking them?

Yes. Open the job, go to the booked tab, find the talent, and edit or delete that shift.

Payment and fees

What does it cost?

Nothing to create an account, browse talent, or post a job. When talent complete work on your job you pay commission plus GST on the talent fee, and nothing else. That is 20% on Core, the plan every account starts on, or 15% on Plus at $99 a month.

How do I know the final cost of a booking?

The exact amount, talent fee plus commission and GST at your plan rate, appears in the price breakdown on the booking page before you confirm. You receive an invoice once the job completes.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Your card is pre-authorised for the full amount shortly before the job begins, and the hold is kept until the job completes successfully.

Are there minimum rates for booking talent?

Yes. Every job is screened against minimum rates for the talent type, so briefs are budgeted appropriately and you stay on the right side of minimum legal award wages.

How do talent get paid?

We pre-authorise the full amount before the job begins. Once the job is complete and the confirmation window has passed, your card is charged and funds transfer to the talent automatically.

How do invoices work?

You pay only when the work is completed, and your invoice is issued automatically once your card is charged. Until then the amount is only authorised on your card, not deducted.

What happens if my card payment fails?

We retry the pre-authorisation and alert you by email and SMS. If a hold cannot be placed before the cutoff on the day prior, the job is cancelled automatically.

Ready to cast your shoot?

Posting a job is free. You pay 20% commission plus GST on the talent fee, only once the work is done.
